Visit the Tulare Historical Museum
The Tulare Historical Museum is another small gem of a museum showcasing the history of the City of Tulare, with collections of art glass, and Olympic Champion Bob Mathias and Admiral Elmo R. Zumwalt, Jr. Traveling exhibitions sponsored by the California Council for the Humanities, special exhibits, and works by artists of all disciplines also frequent the museum. A gift shop offers unusual and hard to find historical books.

Have a Picnic at Mooney Grove Park
Originally designed to preserve giant Valley Oak Trees, the park now has not only these beautiful trees, but large grassy areas, picnic arbors, a duck pond and the county historical museum. Don't miss the original world-famous "End of the Trail" statue by James Earl Fraser and the Pillar Square Monument dedicated to the six pillars of character.

Visit the World Ag Expo in February
Mark Feb 3-4 as booked for one of the largest farm equipment shows in the valley and the world. Originally held in the County Fairgrounds in 1968 designed as a 3 day expo for international companies to show their wares, the Tulare Field and Row Crop Equipment Show quickly outgrew their name, and became the "California Farm Equipment Show". The showgrounds are located just off Paige Ave. near Highway 99 in Tulare.

Take Your Kids to the Tulare Cycle Park
The Tulare Cycle Park is located on Paige Avenue, three miles west of Highway 99. The park includes a 1-1/4 mile motocross track and a 1/4 mile flat track.
